  2. Position it for the right buyers.

  3. Build a path to market.

Based on BergenGrowth GTM, Positioning and Monetization methodologies.

Built from working with 60+ impact startups across climate-tech, renewable energy, decarbonization, agri-food and deep tech.

  4. In a series of six workshops, we dissect your current sales, pitch and business case to uncover what is not working now, and how to build improvement areas.

  5. You and your team will receive actionable Go-To-Market plans to execute on, now.

BergenGrowth GTM approach

Most GTM struggles trace back to 1-2 root causes out of five. In our first session, we diagnose which ones are blocking you and then we apply the right intervention to build a defensible GTM path.

Growth Advisory

1:1 & 1:team workshops on:

Go-To-Market & Positioning

  • Early Stage: solo founders

    • 6 modular workshops

    • 1:1 founder coaching for 3 - 6 months, depending on your pace

    • Founders who have struggle with their selling their product or service to the right audience. Struggling to articulate who it’s for and why they should buy it.

    • Preferred method of working: online or f2f.

    • I help you to work in sprints, setting goals that move your product or service to the market. Testing and validating how well you’re delivering value to your buyers.

    • ‍I strongly emphasize on founder growth. Bridging your mission to actual GTM steps to take and act on now.

Let’s book a call to explore your GTM bottlenecks and directly learn what you should be fixing now.

  • Growth Stage: for founders + teams of max 50 FTE.

    • 6 - 12 workshops

    • 1:1 founder practical advisory and coaching

    • Together we work for 3 to 6 months, based on your pace, on your next product launch, strategic bet, to find Go To Market signals that your buyers are now acting on.

    • For teams that need to still find their Ideal Customer Profile, I’ll help you to stop the spray and pray method.

    • For teams struggling with positioning because their messaging is still too impact mission driven and beautifully written as a long-term (read years) impact goal. We work on crafting a narrative where your users and buyers of your impact product or solutions will act on now. Serving their needs now, not a potential future outcome.

    • We’ll craft a GTM path towards achieving your impact goals.

    • *Price may increase, based on amount of sessions.

Time estimation: 3 to 6 months

Go-To-Market & Positioning

Monetization & Revenue

  • “A mind-blowing GTM experience, with strong facilitation”. - Founders within RESPOND Accelerator (decarbonization)

    Pre-workshop:

founders receive preparation assignments tailored to their phase and company structure.

    • Surfacing GTM bottlenecks for each company in your cohort.

    • Though structured method I’ll discover weak areas for improvement. Think of messaging and narratives are too mission driven not outcome focused to target a specific buyer audience.

    • All your cohort companies receive a GTM audit.

    • We surface important topics to work so that each team and founder will feel that it’s a unique experience and not just another workshop to attend.

Workshops: (full day or half a day)

    • Monetization & Revenue: dissect what value to charge for, how and when. By building a use case that you can monetize on. Founders leave the workshop with an accountability monetization & revenue plan to execute on.

    • Go-To-Market: each company selects their main channel to find new customers. Deep dive on Channel, Product / Service, Target Segmentation. Prioritizing an ICP to monetize on. Get clarity on your GTM path.

    Facilitation approach:

    • Interactive, not just lectured-based.

    • Formats include Gallery walk, Hot seat coaching, Think - build and reflect. Cross-pollination. Founder feedback.

    • A framework to directly apply into a company’s next sprint.

    • Consultative first, solution-oriented next, especially when founders are stuck or patterns emerge where founders just don’t know what to do.

    • All companies receive individual action plans with specific commitment and accountability partners (within the group)

    • This is not just theory, it’s actionable work for each founder and team.

    • Founders leave the space with steps forward in their own GTM path.

    • I focus on individual work, group theory, cross-pollination of ideas, building feedback cycles in the workshop and creating ripple effects for each company so that we all move forward, when leaving the workshop.

    Post-workshop: 1:1 GTM expert coaching

    • Individual follow-up.

    • Get to the root-cause of GTM bottlenecks, and let’s fix them together.

    What founders walk away with:

    • Completed ICP document with use case (what problems to solve and whom to serve).

    • Positioning statement tested with founder peers, to utilize directly internally within own team and externally to shape it into a narrative your buyers will act on now.

    • Monetization hypothesis they can validate the moment they’ll leave the workshop

    • GTM action plan with specific steps, goals and milestones to achieve. Next 30-60 days. Highly prioritized.

    • Accountability founder partner from the cohort.

Use Cases Bergen Growth Go-To-Market.png

My preferred way of working to accelerate growth:

Preparation: Before each workshop, the team is asked to complete short assignments or collect relevant data (e.g. product information, or information from sales conversations).

Workshop Cadence: About one workshop every 2 to 3 weeks, allowing time to process feedback and develop materials. It is an iterative process.

Workshops are modular based on input output from each session, including personal input.

Progress Check-ins: Short calls or emails between workshops to answer questions, review new material and keep momentum in the process.
